Weren't there last night, found it this morning
Now I have most of the mechanical problems sorted and the mods I want have been done I've just started to clean the paint work up. Got a few scratches/scuffs/chips to sort and I clayed the car yesterday so it was looking really good.
But now the only panel that was more or less spotless now has a nice 4" scratch on it Down to the primer so hopefully I can touch it up...

thats terrible mate.
if it was somebody keying it, its more likely they would have gone right up the side in a straight line, that looks to me like some idiot young kid who has fell with their bike against it, i've had 2 cars done like that with idiots on bikes being clumsy as opposed to them being deliberately vindictive.

Possibly but I got back at 11pm on the Saturday and Sunday morning I noticed it at about 11am. There are a few kids who ride up and down the road, they're only about 4 and 5 years old and once I caught one of them ride into the back of me car cos he weren't looking!
I did think of a bike but cos of the position I thought it probably had been keyed. I suspect a neighbour as I had to park where he normally does, although it's on the road so not technically his! He got home after me and if you're in his space he parks on your bumper...bit of a coincidence!
Thanks for the link Been reading a few threads on DW about wet sanding, gonna give it ago

Just be careful as you could make it worse than it already is. Try it on a test panel, and you will need a machine polisher to get the marks left over by the sand paper. Good luck
If you use Megs unigrit 3000 grade you should be able to buff out by hand, but bear in mind when applying your polish you need to generate heat so your going to sweat, but it is possible to buff out 3000 or even 2500 grade sanding marks by hand

Yes I already have Megs 2500 and 3000 paper
I will have a go, if it looks worse then I'll just have to wait for the UK spec polisher to come out but hopefully abit of patience and it will be fine or look better anyway!
